A picturesque resort situated within 2 400 hectares of pristine countryside

Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge is a Four-Star self-catering Resort situated at the top of Robber's Pass, on the historic old road to Pilgrim's Rest; beautiful gardens combine with exquisite natural scenery to create a haven incorporating spectacular cliffs and gorges, forests and sweeping views. Birdlife is plentiful and wild animals such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, antelope and leopard inhabit the Nature Reserve.

The Lodge architecture and facebrick structures sit well within the natural environment. Facilities abound and cater for the whole family and many activities centre around the great outdoors. The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa awarded Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge Four-Star Grading, giving you peace of mind and assurance that your stay with us will be memorable and to the highest standard.

Crystal Springs is conveniently situated for easy access to many of Mpumalanga's most amazing tourist attractions. From the historic, quaint town of Pilgrim's Rest to nearby Sabie and Graskop; to the spectacular Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and the interesting rock formations of the Bourke's Luck Potholes. The world-famous Kruger National Park - home to the Big Five – is only an hour's drive from the resort.

Our Guest Experiences

A very nice and secure place to go to relax and get some fresh air. Very top class and well-maintained and managed by people who are forever smiling. I'd go again and again

The quality of service from the staff and Resort itself is truly something to experience. Situated near the Panorama Route, the Resort obviously takes your breath away. We also received exceptional service from start to finish at Crystal Springs!

This is an amazing place if you want to wake up with a breeze of fresh air away from the city rush. Waking up with animals as your neighbours. I enjoyed the break. An amazing place.... I'll visit it again and again.
